Rick H. about Philadelphia Story - Saturday, February 04, 2012
This novel is about detective/private investigator Lance Carter who lives in Philadelphia and is a former special ops guy. Anyway, obviously he's a tough guy who can handle himself but he seems to run into trouble at every turn. Anyway, one case he is working on runs into another but he just can't figure out how or why. Meanwhile while trying to protect a deceased long-time friend's daughter who he was close with 10 years earlier, he finds the common thread and it puts himself and those around him in grave danger.

Along the way you meet many interesting characters such Copper his dog and faithful companion, Betsy his favorite gun, no nonsense and tough nosed Linc Diesel his unofficial partner and Gabby who was in the Marines and is a tech junkie are among those who helps Lance figure out the case...but I won't tell any more to spoil the plot.

This is a very good book and one I recommend to anyone liking mysteries and action. Very good story, congratulations Bruce!!
Sean S. about The Star of Christmas - Saturday, December 10, 2011
Sarte uses Biblical wordings plus his own imagination to create a quick and wondrous tale that your family will want to keep re-telling every Christmas here on out.

The littlest star in God's Kingdom shows her worth and is rewarded with a task like no other -- leading the Three Wise Men to Bethlehem over 2011 years ago.  It's fun and great for little ones.

Having to face the fact the he is either hearing and seeing things because of the drinking or there is something going on that he needs to look into further. The book gives an heartbreaking account of a man walk down the path of destruction after tragic has struck. Although he has people around him that want to help him, he turns them down and choose to drown his sorrows in drink. With the slight of chance, that circumstances may change, Sam is given something that he never let go completely; a glimmer of hope.
David T. about Towering Pines - Sunday, October 09, 2011
The intriguing story of Liam, a young transfer student at a military academy, is so "real" you can smell the salt air of the Admiral Farragut Academy. What happen next .. well that's the story. Suffice it to say it's not dull. Elements of mystery, horror, paranormal goings on come flying on keeping the reader guessing to the last minute
Rick S. about Towering Pines - Sunday, October 09, 2011
This was an excellent book! As I began reading this book, it pulled me in right away with an interesting plot and vivid characters. The characters were easy to like and I was certainly was pulling for the main character Liam Rider.... Liam started having vivid dreams or where they hallucinations? Could he find out what happened to the three boys who kept appearing in his dreams? Would he be able to find out the source of their pain in time to save his own life which was now being threatened? Could he save his new best friend Lisabeth? Please purchase "Towering Pines Volume One: Room 509" and find out for yourself what happens to Lisabeth, Liam and the entire Rider family. You will NOT be dissatisfied with your purchase!
James A. about Sands of Time - Sunday, October 09, 2011
It's really something special to be able to get a glimpse into someone's life the way we did while reading about Sam S. Even though it's fiction, somehow I was able to identify with the characters that the author created. The twists and turns were totally random and unexpected at times, but tied up nicely.
